TMC (News - Alert), a global, integrated media company, has named the Multi-Tech (News - Alert) Systems' FaxFinder IP fax server as a recipient of its 2011 Unified Communications Product of the Year Award.
Officials with Multi-Tech Systems said that the FaxFinder fax server is an all-in-one fax server that provides distributed faxing capabilities, over a WAN, for corporate offices, small remote offices and field sales people.
“The editors from INTERNET TELEPHONY are pleased to grant a Unified Communications Product of the Year Award to Multi-Tech Systems for the FaxFinder,” said Rich Tehrani, CEO, TMC, in a statement.
Tehrani said that Multi-Tech has proven it is committed to quality and excellence while addressing real needs in the marketplace.
“We look forward to seeing continued advancement in technology solutions from Multi-Tech in the future,” he said.
“The FaxFinder IP is ideal for small-to-medium-sized businesses because it offers substantial cost savings over existing legacy fax solutions and on-line fax subscription services, allowing businesses to achieve an ROI in weeks,” said David Tincher, senior product marketing manager, in a statement.
Tincher said that the FaxFinder IP is also compatible with a variety of leading telephony systems, including Avaya, ShoreTel, Mitel, and Panasonic (News - Alert), making integration into new or existing systems simple and straightforward.
In other industry news, AireSpring (News - Alert) is making a big splash in the IP communications market. From the widespread success of its MPLS Mesh product to the growing popularity of its cloud hosted IP PBX (News - Alert) offering, 2012 has been a momentous year so far for AireSpring.
“We are continuing to try to stay ahead of the technology shift in telecom, developing out the cloud type products people are looking for and their voice needs,” AireSpring’s Senior Vice President of Marketing Todd Regan told TMCnet of the message to take away about AireSpring this year. “The way we see it, people are moving away from TDM at a rapid pace and we want to be able to provide a solid network where they can get their data and layer as many voice and other products on top of that Internet circuit as possible.”
