Knowledge Anywhere, an eLearning company offering knowledge solutions to businesses, announced a merger with Labelle Strategic Resources and Talon IP Communications of NC.

The combined entity will operate under the name Knowledge Anywhere and will focus on developing eLearning courses, Software as a Service (SaaS (News - Alert)) solutions, mobile platform applications and strategic resource placement for healthcare EMR customization and integration.

Knowledge Anywhere specializes in custom knowledge gap solutions, anywhere-anytime learning, custom creative content, interactive experiences, flexible integrated technology and custom real-time reporting.

LaBelle Strategic Resources, a healthcare Information Technology company, offers expertise in the areas of project management, implementation, optimization, support and help desk services, staff augmentation and resource placement for the Epic, Cerner, McKesson, IDX and Siemens (News - Alert) EMR vendor solutions.

Talon IP Communications for Healthcare delivers interactive e-health solution that allows physicians to deliver health education and clinical information to patients securely. These solutions can be used to assess a patient’s level of comprehension and compliance, as well as collect data that can be used for evidence-based medical decision making.

The merger allows each company to capitalize on the technologies and expertise of the combined entities. The n-demand knowledge solutions offerings from each entity will meet customer needs and provide expert integration services.

The new venture, Knowledge Anywhere, will be managed by Knowledge Anywhere Founder and President Charlie Gillette, Talon IP Communications Founder and President Mike Linville, and Labelle Strategic Resources VP of Operations Bob Kline.

Corporate headquarters of the new company will be in Bellevue, WA; and regional offices in Winston-Salem, N.C., and Overland Park, Ks., with sales resources strategically placed nationwide.

“This is a unique opportunity. This combination of talented team members will add tremendous value to customers,” said Charlie Gillette. “The merger will allow us to extend our technology platform and broaden our technical resources so the organization can extend its leadership.”

“Leveraging each entity's individual strengths provides for a more broad and robust portfolio along the HIT service continuum,” said Kline.

IP communications find great adoption among enterprises thanks to the cost savings these services bring to enterprises.

A recent study from Siemens Enterprise (News - Alert) Communications finds that pure IP communications gives enterprises a 43 percent savings over legacy PBX (News - Alert). The research further confirms the fact that IP-based unified communications not only simplifies productivity for end users, but it also saves companies money, according to Siemens.
