NETXUSA (News - Alert), a distributor of voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) products and services has signed an agreement with Tely Labs, a provider of videoconferencing systems. As a result of the deal, NETXUSA will be able to add the telyHD platform to its VoIP and videoconferencing portfolio.
This move looks to help Tely Labs extend its channel reach in the SMB segment and enables NETXUSA's network of more than 5,000 telecommunications service providers and resellers to offer hosted videoconferencing services to their customers.
Eric Todd (News - Alert), CTO at NETXUS said, “Providing video services in the cloud is a logical extension to providing voice services in the cloud, with the telyHD Pro, we have a uniquely accessible platform that supports our service providers' business model of bundled, managed communications services. And because Tely Labs has established a new price/performance standard, every organization can now have video communications and content sharing whenever they want it, wherever they want it.”
The telyHD Pro, the company’s flagship HD videoconferencing and collaboration solution, is designed to offer users improved productivity, efficiency and overall communications. It connects with SIP standard based systems and infrastructure for seamless integration. It supports Skype (News - Alert) HD video calling as well as Tely Labs' own telyCloud service, providing multi-party videoconferencing with many features normally only available with expensive video infrastructure equipment.
Earlier this year, Tely Labs completed interoperability testing with BroadSoft (News - Alert)'s BroadWorks application platform, creating yet another sales channel for Tely Labs's hosted videoconferencing solutions.
NETXUSA is a South Carolina-based company aiming to provide customized solutions and professional distribution services through its proprietary universal provisioning system.
Sreekanth Ravi, Tely Labs Founder and CEO said in a statement, "We're very pleased that NETXUSA's service providers now have a new revenue opportunity by adding hosted videoconferencing services to their voice offerings. This is a very exciting milestone in our ongoing channel expansion."
